Python Engineering was started to machine custom parts for high school and university level robotics projects, as well as hobby robot competitions. We have also investigated projects in many other fields including disposable medical devices, medical exam lighting, and alternative energy production.
After seeing the kinematics models that teachers have built with cardboard cutouts or children’s construction toys, we decided to develop something better.
The result is the Python Kinematics Kit, which was displayed at the ASEE 2006 conference, and is now available for purchase.
At Python Engineering, we continue to be interested in robotics, and can assist in design, choice and integration of components, or CNC machining of custom parts.
We re developing a program, almost ready for sale, to predict performance of AC or DC motors, in various applications and loads, and provide data to help determine optimum motor sizing, power requirements, transmission design, etc.
The investigations into medical devices and energy production are also continuing. |
